Who We Are?
Smart Aid and Development organization (SAAD) is an independent non-profit, humanitarian local organization established in February, 2015. SAAD focuses on various interventions including protection, Education, Skill development, Health, Nutrition, Food security, and WASH and disability inclusion in Puntland Somalia. The overall goal of the SAAD organization is to support and protect the vulnerable and marginalized groups of Somali people through humanitarian relief efforts, awareness-raising campaigns, and the creation of an enabling environment where all people pursue both their material well-being and spiritual development in conditions of freedom and dignity, of economic security and equal opportunity. Our vision is to create an enabling environment where people can take control, solve their problems, and rely on themselves to build sustainable prosperity together with the state, national and international stakeholders. Our mission is to protect and support the vulnerable parts of the community while searching for more viable and durable solutions to the recurrent humanitarian crisis in Somalia
SAAD helps the poorest to improve their access to water & Sanitation and provides immediate relief and longer-term rehabilitation to people affected by conflicts and natural disasters.

Our Objectives
- Support livelihood and Humanitarian Aids for IDPs and poor communities in Somalia.
- Supervising the restoration of health care facilities and hospitals found.
- Improving education and building schools to empower young people from poor communities in Somalia.
- Enhance education and skills training access to youth and adults to promote employment opportunities.
